THE RULES FOR VISITS THAT COME FROM MORE THAT 70 MILES AWAY STILL APPLY, BUT OTHER THAN THAT, THESE
WILL BE THE NEW VISITATION TIMES.
ANY QUESTIONS WRITE ME ON A REQUEST FORM.
Visitors in the jail will be limited to immediate family only. Immediate family consists of (mother, father, brother, sister, grandparents, spouse, and children). Any other requests for visits will be considered on a case by case basis. Only the Jail Administrator (Captain), Chief Deputy Sheriff, or the Sheriff will have the authority to approve any other visits. Proof of relations will be at the discretion of the Jail Captain.
All children under the age of 17 will be accompanied by their Legal Guardian. Inmates who will be having children brought in will be given a "special visitation slip" to be filled out before visitation that day.
Attorney visits are allowed at any time.
Emergency visits will be allowed in the case of death, chronic sickness, or major emergency in the immediate family, but only with the approval of the Jail Captain or a Higher Ranking Officer.
The Aransas County Jail is staffed by 36 personel, including, the jail Administrator
Capt. Tina Kutach, 28 Corrections officers, 1 Kitchen supervisor, 4 Transport Officers,1 nurse and 1 medication aide.
