The Sheriff’s Junior Deputy Sheriff Program is made up of young people in the community who support the Sheriff in his Crime Prevention, Safety Education and Community Policing efforts. The first and original 3 Junior Deputies who helped get this program off the ground were "Kat" Caldwell, Charlie Cooke, Chris Nelson. 

These fine young Junior Deputies have since ground up to become fine young citizens and have been joined by other youngsters from the community who volunteer to help at community events where they can share the sheriff's message about safety and crime prevention to other kids in Aransas County.
